"In 1962 my opera Una voce in off was premiered in which there is a landscape in which the protagonist sings a short vocalizzo without text. In 1978, a fragment was edited for voice and piano, and later they have made several transcriptions, the last one for clarinet and piano, performed for the first time by Oriol Romaní and Carlota Garriga in 1990. The work has turned out to be ideal for the possibilities of the clarinet."
