"It was written in 1966, three years before man showed up on our radar. The admired maestro Xavier Montsalvatge, based on a funny story by Josep Maria Espinàs, composed suggestive and at the same time didactic music, since while he illustrates the text introduces the different instruments of the orchestra individually. Viatge a la Lluna is a compact work, essentially rhythmic and with a beautiful human message."
