"A posthumous work, yes, and in a way a synthesis of a compositional way of doing things, as his friend Manolo Hugué said: "we innovate, but without breaking anything". A score that contains a subjective look at nature and its colors . Montsalvatge combines tradition and modernity in this work, as he has always done. As he said: "I move between consonance and dissonance, between tonality and atonality" and added: "I would like to be remembered as the Gershwin of Pedralbes". Farewell friend and maestro, forever."
