"Around 1956, Montsalvatge dates his song for soprano and piano, Oraçao, sixty-six measures within an indicated and inconcrete air, "Dolce e Calmato", which extend its noble speech on a simple and perfect fit, as a support for a melodic course oscillating between the "Piano" and the "Mezzoforte", with the addition of the "Lento" which extinguishes everything in the most evanescent way."
