"It is based on a canon that I wrote when I was a student as a harmony work in Enric Morera's class. Much later, in 1995, due to a commission from Rádio Nacional de España on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of Radio Clásica, I made it into a concert work, adding an introduction and expanding its musical discourse."
